Medical-Grade Silicone

Cleaning: Wash with warm water and a mild, unscented soap. Rinse thoroughly to remove any residue.
Deep clean: Fully waterproof, non-motorised silicone pieces can usually be boiled for a few minutes or wiped with a dedicated toy cleaner. Never boil anything containing a motor, battery or electronics — see our charging notes below.
Drying & storage: Pat dry with a lint-free cloth and let it air-dry completely. Store separately from other silicone items, ideally in the pouch or bag provided, to keep the surface pristine.

Stainless Steel & Metal

Cleaning: Wash with warm water and mild soap, or wipe down with a toy cleaner. Non-electronic solid steel pieces can also be sanitised in boiling water.
Care: Dry thoroughly to preserve that flawless shine and prevent water spots. A soft cloth buffs metal back to a polished finish.
Storage: Keep in a soft pouch, away from harder objects that might scratch the surface.

PU Leather

Cleaning: Wipe gently with a damp (not wet) cloth. Avoid soaking, and steer clear of harsh solvents or alcohol, which can dry and crack the finish.
Care: Let it air-dry away from direct heat and sunlight. Never machine wash or tumble dry leather goods.
Storage: Store flat or loosely coiled in a cool, dry place so straps and cuffs keep their shape.

Plush & Fabric-Trimmed Pieces

Cleaning: Spot-clean plush trims and soft fabrics with a damp cloth and a touch of mild soap; check any care label before doing more.
Care: Allow to air-dry fully — plush holds moisture, so give it time before storing.
Storage: Keep somewhere dry and breathable to protect the soft texture and prevent any musty odour.

Choosing the Right Lubricant

The right lubricant makes everything more comfortable — but not every lubricant suits every material. Keep these simple rules in mind:

Water-based lubricant is the safe, universal choice. It works beautifully with every material we carry, rinses away easily, and is gentle on skin. When in doubt, reach for water-based.
Never use silicone-based lubricant on silicone toys. Silicone lube can bond with and permanently degrade a silicone surface, leaving it tacky or damaged. Silicone lube is fine with glass, stainless steel and metal, but for silicone always choose water-based.
Go easy on oil-based products, which can weaken certain materials and are not compatible with latex condoms. For everyday versatility, water-based remains the smart default.

If you are ever unsure, do a quick patch test on a small, hidden area first, or simply stick with a quality water-based formula.

Charging & Waterproofing Notes

Rechargeable pieces are wonderfully convenient — a little care keeps them running at their best.

Charge fully before first use and use only the cable supplied. Magnetic and USB charging contacts should be clean and dry before connecting.
Charge in a dry environment. Never charge an item that is wet, and never submerge the charging port.
Check the waterproof rating. Some products are fully waterproof and shower- or bath-friendly; others are only splash-resistant. Always confirm the rating on the product page before taking anything near water, and never boil or fully submerge motorised or electronic items.
Store with a little charge in a cool place, out of direct sunlight and away from extreme heat, to protect the battery over time.

Safety Tips for Bondage Play
